Niagara Falls Fireworks

From May 1st until October 30th, 2016, every Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and Holidays at 10 p.m., enjoy a spectacular Niagara Falls fireworks displays in Queen Victoria Park.
Fireworks displays are weather permitting.
Note: All dates and times are approximate and subject to change.
14th Annual PumpkinFest 
Stamford Presbyterian Church at 3121 St Paul Avenue in Niagara Falls, is hosting their 14th Annual PumpkinFest from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 1st. 2016.
There will be supervised children’s activities, plus the option to buy pumpkin pies along with a variety of baked goods, meat pies, and cabbage rolls, crafts and novelty items, and jewelry (including purses). There will be an indoor tea room, outdoor BBQ and eating tent, adult and children books and puzzles, a pumpkin pie contest (open to all), plus a silent auction offering amazing items at good prices.
Admission is free to get in.

Behind the Scenes Tour of the Niagara Falls History Museum
When: September 30th to October 2nd, 2016 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
The Curator of the Niagara Falls Museums will take you behind the scenes of their collection. Explore the storage area, and learn about the stories behind some of the artifacts that are collected here.
Tours will be delivered twice a day at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Tours will be first come first served on the day of the event and will be a maximum of 20 people.
Admission to the Niagara Falls History Museum is free on these dates.

13th Annual PumpkinFest at Heartland Forest 
When: Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Craft Show and Artfest in Vineland

When: Saturday, October 8th to Monday, October 10th, 2016 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Vineland annual craft show and Artfest is held on Thanksgiving Weekend from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and visitors will get to check out various exhibits held at Twenty Valley Public School (4057 Victoria Avenue N. in Vineland).
Also along Victoria Ave there are various other exhibitors offering a huge range of crafts and food.
It is a juried show with no more than 130 exhibitors.  One third of the show consists of Fine Art, and the balance quality crafts.
Admission is free.
“Pumpkinville” at Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm
When: Saturday, October 15th, 2016 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm (650 Read Road, St.Catharines)

This is a free to attend, fun-filled family Fall festival with plenty of games, activities and entertainment, including:
– Pumpkin Carving Contest
– Scarecrow Building
– Inflatable Bouncers
– Face Painting
– Hay Dive
– Craft Table
– Live Entertainment
– Pony Rides ($5 fee)
Lincoln Mom-to-Mom Fall Sale 
When: Saturday, October 1st. 2016 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
This is the 7th Annual Lincoln Mom to Mom Sale held at 4875 King Street, Beamsville at the Great Lakes Christian High School Campus. Free admission, free parking and over 70 vendors, Artisans, Community Organizations and more!

Unveiling of Landscape of Nations: The Six Nations and Native Allies Commemorative Memorial
When: Sunday, October 2nd, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Queenston Heights Park, 14184 Niagara Parkway, Queenston


Community Yoga at the Niagara Falls History Museum 
When: Thursday, October 6th & Thursday, October 20th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

October features a FREE community yoga class at the Niagara Falls History Museum. This is a relaxing hatha yoga class, geared toward reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep quality and maintaining or re-gaining your health. No yoga experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and a yoga mat if you have one. Recommended for ages 16 and up. 20 Participants max, come early to ensure a spot.
11th Annual “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” Event at the Pen Centre
When: Saturday, October 15th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Walk a Mile in HER Shoes is a symbolic gesture of men marching to raise awareness and money for the issue of violence against women. The Walk gives men the opportunity to take a public stand on the issue of violence against women.

Men strap on a pair of heels and walk together through the Pen Centre in order to show women you want to work together in making the world a safer place for all mothers, sisters and daughters.

All proceeds from this fundraising walk will go towards Gillian’s Place, the only organization that provides a safe emergency shelter and specialized services for abused women and their children from Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Catharines, Thorold and West Lincoln.

Registration: 9:30 am Walk: 11:30 am, with Closing Ceremonies to follow.

**While registration is not FREE, the community is encouraged to attend and cheer on all these men!!
