B.C. man jumps off Niagara Falls … again

NANAIMO, B.C. – For the second time in three years, Dean Sullivan rappelled down the cliffs of Niagara Falls without injury.

Still, the Nanaimo man is not officially recognized for his daredevil antics.

Sullivan – also known for bungee jumping off Vancouver’s Lions Gate Bridge in 2002 – loves the attention his stunts attract, so he said he was quite upset when the Niagara parks commission refused to acknowledge his 2004 jump.

In a letter, the parks commission told him they would not rank him with other daredevils who have gone over because he was not caught and charged for his jump.
