Niagara Falls city council supported a resolution to designate the downtown Niagara Falls area as a tourist district under the Canadian Tourism-Oriented Directional Signs program.
The downtown Business Improvement Area association requested through the downtown steering committee that council approve the designation to enable them to obtain signage along the QEW promoting the downtown as an arts and entertainment district. (more..)
