Fort Erie Friendship Festival 2014
Located just minutes from Niagara Falls, the Fort Erie Friendship Festival has successfully been active since 1987, uniting Canadian and American culture with the intention of creating a united front influenced by the War of 1812.
The Fort Erie Friendship Festival continues and maintains its mission statement:
To promote an international Friendship Festival celebrating the good relations between Canada and the United States of America since the end of the War of 1812.
To support and promote better relations between Canada and the USA.
To support and promote the economic development of the Region of Niagara South in general, and the Town of Fort Erie in particular.
To support and promote tourism and cultural activities.
Where is it located?
The Fort Erie Friendship Festival is located at Mather Arch in Fort Erie. From the QEW heading towards the Peace Bridge, take the last exit “Central Avenue” and turn right. From Buffalo, go across the Peace Bridge and take “Central Avenue” exit (right under the Central Avenue overpass).

The Fort Erie Friendship Festival runs from Friday, June 27th to Tuesday, July 1st (an extra day this year!), and features many activities. Food Vendors, shopping vendors, 1812 Encampment & Demonstrations, a Festival’s Got Talent competition, a Family Interactive & “Kid’s Zone” area, a Midway, a great line up of entertainment, and so much more will happen over these five days. Friday marks the opening day with the festival opening at 11:00 am. Entry is FREE to get in, but if you would like to partake in the Midway activities (opening at 11:00am everyday), it is as follows:

Amber Reigns: Amber Reigns is a Rock band from Fort Erie, ON with modern, classic, alternative and grunge influences. 
Back In The Daze: Back In The Daze shares their love for old music through their many great cover songs (The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Queen Etc.) and a fleet of catchy original songs.

Canada Day features performances from the 2013 Niagara Music Awards Showcase, as well as the winners of the Festival’s Got Talent competition (winner to be announced on the same day).

Friendship Festival is looking for volunteers!
The Fort Erie Friendship Festival relies on more than 200 volunteers to assist in the running of the festival. Make new friends, learn new skills and have fun by taking part in an amazing venue!
