Experience the magic of opera in the heart of Niagara this summer. The Opera Festival of Niagara is a week-long celebration featuring performers from across North America, all coming together to honor the arts and the legacy of Giacomo Puccini.

Opening Gala Concert: June 30, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Kick off the festival in style with our Gala Concert Event. Walk the red carpet, dress up, and enjoy an evening of beauty and culture. It’s the perfect date night or an elegant outing with friends.

Spotlight on Puccini: July 2

Join us on July 2 for an insightful session about Giacomo Puccini with Niagara’s own Dr. Maria Vetere, an Italian soprano, musicologist, and Wall of Fame recipient. Delve into the life and works of this remarkable composer.

Puccini’s Le Villi: July 5 and 6

On July 5 and 6, immerse yourself in Puccini’s first opera, Le Villi. Despite its short run-time of less than an hour, this semi-staged performance will captivate you with its rich melodies and dramatic flair. The production will also feature a special guest performance by a local dance studio.
