Since 2004, Niagara Falls’ Sleep Cheap Charities Reap event has raised over $2.5 million for local charities. This year, the event returns from Sunday, November 17th through Thursday, November 21st, offering Niagara residents the chance to stay at top hotels for a fraction of the price—all while supporting a great cause.
Key Details You Should Know:
- Booking Date: Rooms become available for booking starting Wednesday, October 16th, at 9:00 a.m.
- Stay Duration: Guests can book up to 2 one-night stays or 1 two-night stay for a total of two nights during the event.
- Who Can Participate?: This promotion is open to Niagara Region residents who are 21+ years old with a valid credit card.
- Included in Your Rate: All Sleep Cheap room rates include parking and are free of resort fees or hidden charges. However, a $2.00 Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) per night will be added.
- Booking Process: Contact hotels directly to book your room. If calling, ensure you only do so after 9:00 a.m. on October 16th.
Cancellation Policy: You can cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking without charge. However, cancelling after 24 hours will result in the full Sleep Cheap rate being applied.

- Fallsview/Whirlpool Room: $75 per night
- Waterpark Room: $125 per night

Every year I call GWL it is always busy? Do they accept in person reservations?
Yes, the line-ups start early though, so come hours before. But that is your best bet!
This will be our first year participating. I am assuming the rate for a room at Great Wolf would be $85 including the waterpark. Is that correct? Also, can you book more than one night? Any other pointers, tips or useful info for first timers would be greatly appreciated.
That is correct. $85 includes admission to the park as well. Great Wolf Lodge sells out first and chances are by phone you will be met with a busy signal. This is why most people decide to arrive in person. A lot of people line-up super early, so get there hours before!
I hope that the Great Wolf Lodge does not in fact take reservations in person. THey have only provided their phone number for reservations, meaning that calling them is the only accepted way of making a reservation. If they are violating their own terms for reservations by allowing people to jump the queue in person, then making reservations online would also be acceptable. They don’t allow online reservations so making reservations in person should also be disqualified. THat would be like calling their number a few hours ahead of time, and asking to be put on hold until 8am Friday morning. Not fair, and quite misleading. Definitely a violation of the terms they have given the general public.
After waiting on hold for at least 15 min at three different hotels only to be told their
hotel is not offering their Jacuzzi rooms was very frustrating.. I expect long waits but if it was listed on each hotel what rooms they are offering I may have been able to get one. but after wasting over 45 min of being on hold everything is all sold out now…. This such a great thing but definitely needs some bugs worked out of the process still after all these years….

Americana is already almost fully booked for it. It says only Friday night is available. So it was open to book before the Oct 18…. And you save 10 bucks from the regular price…
