Rogers Hometown Hockey In Niagara Falls

In the first of 24 stops this season, the two-day celebration of Rogers Hometown Hockey (season 4) will take place in Queen Victoria Park, Niagara Falls.
The Niagara Parks Commission is hosting the 5th Niagara Falls Barrelman Triathlon on Sunday, September 16th. Developed by MultiSport Canada, over 1000 participants are registered to take part in the triathlon, which consists of a two kilometre swim, a 90 kilometre bike ride and a 21.1 kilometre run, with its finish line set against the backdrop of the mighty Niagara Falls.

Roger Daltrey stands as the founding member of The Who, initiating the band's formation in 1959 during his time at Acton County School. He recruited John Entwistle and later agreed to Pete Townshend joining the group. Daltrey's musical influences leaned towards blues and R&B, shaping the band's early repertoire. In December 2008, Daltrey and Townshend were awarded the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors in the United States, recognizing their significant contributions to culture.

Gus Macker Tournament

The tournament is expected to host over 200 teams with more than 5,000 spectators in attendance over the course of the three days. The tournament will begin on Friday, September 22nd with early bird registration, and officially tip off the following day, Saturday, September 23rd with Opening Ceremonies at 8:00 a.m.; first round following immediately after.
