Niagara Falls was chosen as the host of the Canadian portion of a global race sponsored by Red Bull that raises money for spinal injury, called the Wings for Life World Run. The best part? 100% of the entry fee proceeds go to Spinal Cord Research.
This new exhibit, created by Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo of Ottawa, features fifteen different nocturnal species, as well as a select number of smaller animals that will allow for up-close, hands on interaction. Zoo educators will be on-site daily to lead captivating and interactive programming, with such diverse and interesting creatures as: the Leopard Gecko, Cuvier’s Dwarf Caiman, the Emperor Scorpion, Burmese Python, The Common Snapping Turtle and many other species.
The new exhibit is included with regular paid admission:
Miss T the Bubble Queen will be on site to host the Bubbleology Show - an entertaining and educational show that pushes the barriers of science to create a mixture of wonder, visual art, science, and magic all together. Showtimes are at 11am & 1pm March 13-16. Afterwards take a journey through the museum, make a winter-themed craft and complete a scavenger hunt, then finish the day off with a movie at 3pm.
