A beautiful garden setting The Park’s signature garden offers a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of Niagara’s tourist district.  Just ten minutes north of Clifton Hill, enjoy close to 100 acres of meticulously maintained gardens, home to the charming Butterfly Conservatory as well as the outdoor classroom for the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture.

Niagara Falls Incline Railway

The “Falls Incline Railway” originally known as the Horseshoe Falls Incline is a funicular railway situated directly across the Horseshoe Falls and about 1.5 km south of Clifton Hill.  Unlike earlier iterations which descended into the Niagara Gorge, this funicular is perched higher above at the centre of Queen Victoria Park.

Who was Laura Secord?

She was Canada’s heroine who played a huge part in the War of 1812. On June 21, 1813 some American officers forced their way into her home to which she shared with her husband, James Secord.
